I was talking about Friends on Twitter, and how it’s pretty homophobic and VERY transphobic at times, and I got this response from someone when I mentioned that Chandler’s dad is trans and that fact is the butt of about twenty jokes in Monica and Chandler’s wedding episode. it’s seriously constant in that episode, and so insensitive. apparently that’s justified because “a man in a dress” is funny.
so not cool.
